    All this instruction from two RKC Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructors would make for a pretty long and tiring day. By the end of what would be a 4-6 hour “learn by doing” workshop, you’d be beat and your form would start to go downhill real fast.For safety reason, we’ve split all this learning into two ‘mini-workshops’, with a short lunch break in between. Let’s face it, 4-5 hours is a long time and the last thing we want is for someone to get hurt. Kettlebells are supposed to help you get in shape and have more energy throughout the day, not make you fell like you got hit by a Mack truck!

    The first mini-workshop (Level I) will cover The Kettlebell Swing (and it’s variations), The “Get Up”, and the Kettlebell Clean. This will build a solid foundation for all other kettlebell movements. Proper form is paramount! This is another reason we space two weeks between the mini-workshops, you’ll have two full weeks to practice. This will make the second mini-workshop so much easier.

    The second mini-workshop (Level II after lunch) covers everything else. The Kettlebell Snatch, the Press and Front Squat.

    Each workshop costs only $229 and our next workshop meets November 1, 2008 @ 10 AM sharp.

    For one-on-one instruction we charge $100/hour with one certified instructor. These workshops combined last a total of about 5 hours that’s roughly a 50% discount, plus you’ll have 2 certified instructors present!

    Q: Where Are Your Workshops Held?

    A: Our Facility: Full Throttle Athletics is located at: 15222 King Rd, Unit 601 in Frisco Texas.

    So if your anywhere in North Texas area (Frisco, Plano, The Colony, Little Elm, McKinney, Etc) you can easily make it.

    We will be holding a workshop the first Saturday of every month starting on November 1, 2008, unless otherwise noted on this page.

    Q: What should I expect?

    A: You’ll get at least five hours (combined time) of instruction so whether you’ve never touched a Kettlebell or only have limited experience with one or have been working out with one for some time, we can dial in your form and correct any bad habits you may have picked up. I think you’ll be surprised how much a little personal attention can help. By the end you should have a pretty good understanding of the extraordinary benefits that the Kettlebell can offer.

    Q: What should I bring?

    All you need to bring is you body, and your bell(s) if you have some.If you don’t have Kettlebells don’t worry, we do.

    Flat soled shoes are preferred but you can do the movements bare foot, too. No running or cross training shoes.

    We will have water and AdvoCare Rehydrate for sale or you can bring your own water.

    Last but not least, bring a towel, you’ll see.

    Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can promptly start at 10AM.

    Q: Can I bring a friend?

    Q: I have been working with Kettlebells for some time now. Can I skip the Level I and just sign up for the Level II?

    I’m sorry, but no you can’t. We find that no matter how long some people have been working with Kettlebells, they can still afford to brush up on the basics. You may be missing some very important, key aspects of theses moves. You may never find these holes in your technique if you were to skip the Level I. Form on the basics is paramount.

    Q: Will you have Kettlebells to purchase?

    For Sure! We try to keep a wide assortment to Dragon Door Kettlebells in stock, because like you, we don’t like to wait for things to come UPS either. In addition, it’s best to purchase your Kettlebell right away so you can practice while the skills are still fresh in your head. We have chosen to stock only Dragon Door Kettlebells because their quality supersedes most others we’ve seen on the market.

    Kori and I pride ourselves on offering fun, effective exercise methods for your clients and Kettlebells fit the bill perfectly. As the only fitness coaching service in southeast Wisconsin offering Kettlebells as a part of our service, you can rest assured you will be learning from experts who practice what we preach.I must stress, this is a beginner workshop. We will emphasis the basics to ensure once you leave you will be confident that you can perform the basic moves we covered in your workouts or at our Boot Camps and Kettlebell Combo Classes. The last thing we want is for you to call us saying the Kettlebell just landed on your foot or worse, your head.
